August 2006 Newsletter

Hello again from ejazzlines!

Welcome to ejazzlines' new look! As many of you have noticed, we have not sent out a newsletter since June, as we have been busy making big changes to our site. Now that everything is complete, we welcome you to check out our new look, and we would sincerely appreciate any feedback you may have regarding the appearance of our site, its ease of use, and basically anything you feel is an improvement or a detriment when compared to the old site. We do have a great many new DVDs, CDs, sheet music books, and charts which we have added in the last two months, and we encourage you to visit the pages for July and August. We are excited to feature great new DVD releases of classic shows by Ben Webster, Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington, Teddy Wilson, Joe Pass and others, as well as brand new releases of performances by Buddy Rich, Chick Corea with Gary Burton, and the second DVD of the new Legends of Jazz with Ramsey Lewis TV program. We sincerely hope you like the new website, as it was carefully designed to both look better and work better, with all of you and your comments in mind. We hope everyone is having a great summer, and we look forward to your feedback about our new look.

As of this newsletter we have added 56 new CDs for the month of August 2006 and 56 for the month of July 2006; 33 new DVDs for August 2006 and 50 for July 2006; 44 new print music books for August 2006 and 76 for July 2006; 163 new big band arrangements for the month of August 2006 and 14 for the month of July 2006.

We now have a special section on our site dedicated to the imports and hard to find CDs that we stock. You may want to bookmark our Imports and Rarities section. You can find this link on the top of our homepage and left-hand margin of each page. These pages don't list everything we have in stock, but present a healthy selection of titles that you may not already be familiar with.

In our DVD section, we now carry more than 1,130 jazz DVDs!

As always, please keep in mind that many of our new releases are available in limited quantities. We do our best to predict demand and fill orders as quickly as possible, but we do run out of new releases. Even if we run out of stock, everything featured in this newsletter should be available to ship within 3 weeks. If you need something by a certain date, please email us ahead of time to ensure availability.
