Bravo, Sonny

Sonny Bravo (born October 7, 1936), is an Afro-Cuban jazz and Latin jazz pianist. Sonny was a member of popular group Tipica 73 that was responsible for several historical recordings that helped preserve the Cuban music genre. Sonny has performed with luminaries such as Manny Campo, El Casino de Miami, JosÃ�© Fajardo, Willie Bobo, Mongo Santamaria, Johnny Pacheco, Bobby Paunetto, and many others. Sonny was Tito Puente's main piano player for many years until Tito's passing. He continues to stay active in the Latin music scene and currently plays piano for the Mambo Legends Orchestra.
