Here's a medium tempo shuffle chart that's very laid-back and bluesy. A fun saxophone section soli starts it out in the first chorus with the brass playing in half plungers for a very cool accompaniment. There's a written or improvised solo for tenor on as many choruses as desired, or it can easily be opened up over the accessible blues chord progression. The whole band returns after the solos and a bridge ending with a piano solo section takes it back to the head for a stellar finish.
