Hold on to your hat! This wild, hard-rock chart is unbelievable in it's energy, meter changes, strong rhythmic motifs and more. The opening is strong, with the whole band roaring and then settling into the main theme. The opening figure comes back again and again. Things finally quiet down for the first solo (alto sneaks into a free and open solo). The next solo is on tenor saxophone or trumpet. The rest of the band plays sharp rhythmic figures behind each solo. After the entire ensemble plays a "Latin" section the chart returns to the hard-rock feel and moves slowly toward a quiet and reflective ending with echoes of the whole piece.
