This small group quintet chart is in an odd meter going between 6/4 and 4/4. The chart features a nice written bass line that the rhythm section will join in on hits throughout the chart. As in the recording, the melody can be played in divided-unison. The B section features great counter lines in the horns. The solo section can be played different ways. Either play the form or break up the sections for different instruments. On the recording, the drummer plays Cahon, but it can be played on drums with broomsticks.
