QUINTET INSTRUMENTATION
This Hank Mobley classic, based loosely on the chord progression of Softly As A Morning Sunrise, is a powerful melody that effectively uses the rhythm section. This arrangement also features an impressive orchestration of the intro that will highlight a group's rhythmic accuracy and a chorus in which the entire band trades with the drummer.
SOLOS: The chord progression which moves from D minor to F major and back to D minor, is a great straight-ahead set of changes that are playable by any moderately-skilled improviser.
