A big band version of the classic jazz-rock piece from 1970. This piece begins with the trombones taking the melody, building in thirds as the 1st verse moves toward the bridge, which brings in the whole band. The saxophones lead the 2nd verse is similar fashion. The original piano solo is open for general solos, and the original sax solo is replaced with a saxophone soli. The final verse crescendos to the end, with a very cool finish.
