Hello again from ejazzlines!

Our April newsletter has some outstanding features, led off by a phenomenal selection of rare Toshiba Blue Note CD titles from 1985-2000, all in very small quantities and priced to go! The majority of these titles are sample copies that we're selling on behalf of the producer. We have also added the entire series of Contemporary Jazz Improvisation and Rhythm Studies books by noted educator David Berger.

April's DVD offerings feature classic performances by Oscar Peterson and Jaco Pastorius. We also have a great new DVD, loaded with info and interviews, which is a must for all trumpet players: Trumpet Secrets Revealed.

As with most of our newsletters, this month we're featuring some great re-issues from Japan, including a new King Jazz series of titles formerly released on the Kudu label. Titles include: Ron Carter: Anything Goes; Joe Beck: Beck; Idris Muhammad: House of the Rising Sun; Grant Green: The Main Attraction; Johnny Hammond: Wild Horses; and more. Also featured are titles by Toshiko Akiyoshi [Toshiko Meets Her Old Pals]; Stanley Turrentine [West Side Highway]; Paul Chambers [Chambers' Music]; and Helen Merrill [The Nearness of You].

Our new book section is bountiful as always, featuring new guitar books from Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, Alfred, and others. We encourage you to check everything out, and please let us know what you found most interesting and helpful this month.

In our ceasless effort to present all that is new and interesting, as of this newsletter we have added 142 new CDs for the month of April 2007 and 121 for the month of March 2007; 44 new DVDs for April 2007 and 26 for March 2007; 86 new music books for April 2007 and 76 for March 2007; 30 new big band and combo arrangements for the months of April 2007 and 35 for the month of March 2007.

We maintain a special and regularly updated section on our site dedicated to the imports and hard to find CDs that we stock. You may want to bookmark our Imports and Rarities section. You can find this link on the top of our homepage and left-hand margin of each page. These pages don't list everything we have in stock, but present a healthy selection of titles that you may not already be familiar with.

In our DVD section, we now carry more than 1,300 jazz DVDs!

As always, please keep in mind that many of our new releases are available in limited quantities. We do our best to predict demand and fill orders as quickly as possible, but we do run out of new releases. Even if we run out of stock, everything featured in this newsletter should be available to ship within 3 weeks.

We thank you all again very sincerely for your continued support, and we look forward with all of you to the onset of spring!
