Hello again from ejazzlines!

Happy 2007 from all of us at ejazzlines. We extend a special greeting to those of you who were fortunate enough to attend this year's fantastic IAJE Conference in New York City, where the weather once again cooperated to help the event be very well-attended. We were thrilled that so many of you came by to say hi, and we look forward to this event every year with great anticipation, as we get to meet so many of you from all over the world. We hope to see even more of you next year in Toronto!

We have some wonderful new items to offer this month, led off by two brand new DVDs out of Europe, one by a great Art Blakey group led by Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter, the other featuring Tenor Titans Dexter Gordon and Ben Webster. We have an especially fine array of new books this month, including three new volumes of Jim Snidero's excellent Intermediate Jazz Conception series, editions for bass, piano, and drums. We also are proud to offer Sher Music's two newest offerings, including a Jazz Piano Master Class with Mark Levine, author of the classic works The Jazz Theory Book and The Jazz Piano Book. Other new books featuring the works of Sonny Stitt, Kurt Rosenwinkel, David Liebman, Joey DeFrancesco, Billy Taylor, and Frank Sinatra round out January's offerings.

In our continuing effort to present all that is new and interesting, as of this newsletter we have added 137 new CDs for the month of January 2007 and 116 for the month of December 2006; 32 new DVDs for January 2007 and 33 for December 2006; 63 new music books for January 2007 and 42 for December 2006; and 59 new big band arrangements for the month of January 2007 and 40 for the month of December 2006.

We have a special and regularly updated section on our site dedicated to the imports and hard to find CDs that we stock. You may want to bookmark our Imports and Rarities section. You can find this link on the top of our homepage and left-hand margin of each page. These pages don't list everything we have in stock, but present a healthy selection of titles that you may not already be familiar with.

In our DVD section, we now carry more than 1,275 jazz DVDs!

As always, please keep in mind that many of our new releases are available in limited quantities. We do our best to predict demand and fill orders as quickly as possible, but we do run out of new releases. Even if we run out of stock, everything featured in this newsletter should be available to ship within 3 weeks. If you need something by a certain date, please email us ahead of time to ensure availability.
