Hello again from ejazzlines!

This month, among other great new releases, we're featuring a crop of reissues from the Japanese label King and the Spanish label Fresh Sound - all priced to sell quickly. King has done a masterful (or, perhaps re-masterful) job of culling the CTI catalog and releasing some classics including Don Sebesky's Giant Box, Randy Weston's Blue Moses, Joe Farrell's Outback, Jim Hall's Studio Trieste, and other treats. The Fresh Sound releases continue to focus on the West Coast school and feature releases by Dave Brubeck (with Paul Desmond), Woody Herman's short-lived Octet, and a 3-CD set featuring Shorty Rogers' Quintet of 1954-1956. Please check back all month, as we continue to add new items to our monthly pages until about the third week of each month.

Please note our new sale section in this newsletter. This month we're featuring overstock DVDs at reduced prices - this is a perfect time to launch your holiday shopping and pick up a couple of great attractively priced jazz DVDs.

Speaking of holiday shopping, we do have special sections on our site to check out Holiday CDs, Holiday DVDs, Holiday Songbooks, Holiday Big Band Arrangements.

In our continuing effort to present all that is new and interesting, as of this newsletter we have added 169 new CDs for the month of November 2006 and 173 for the month of October 2006; 43 new DVDs for November 2006 and 40 for October 2006; 44 new music books for November 2006 and 39 for October 2006; 61 new big band arrangements for the months of November 2006 and 10 for the month of October 2006.

We now have a special and regularly updated section on our site dedicated to the imports and hard to find CDs that we stock. You may want to bookmark our Imports and Rarities section. You can find this link on the top of our homepage and left-hand margin of each page. These pages don't list everything we have in stock, but present a healthy selection of titles that you may not already be familiar with.

In our DVD section, we now carry more than 1,250 jazz DVDs!

As always, please keep in mind that many of our new releases are available in limited quantities. We do our best to predict demand and fill orders as quickly as possible, but we do run out of new releases. Even if we run out of stock, everything featured in this newsletter should be available to ship within 3 weeks. If you need something by a certain date, please email us ahead of time to ensure availability.
