Edition: Jazz Big Band Arrangement with Vocal

Description: Swing - Difficult

Publisher: Jazz Lines Publications

Nat 'King' Cole recorded this Nelson Riddle arrangement in January 1953. The chart is entirely a vocal feature except for a four measure piano solo. Interestingly, several background sections were cut for the recording. It is probable that Nat wanted these backgrounds cut to have the first two A sections of the arrangement be just a piano trio sound. We have included these cut backgrounds and they may be played if desired. The arrangement begins in G and modulates to Ab. This publication was based on the original set of parts used during the recording session - this is not a transcription.
