We are thrilled to present one of Nat King Cole's most timeless classics, his 1946 recording of The Christmas Song, arranged by Charles Grean. Cole first recorded this with his trio in 1946 and Grean added strings to it. In 1953 Nelson Riddle re-scored it. This publication is based on the Grean 1946 parts and the 1953 Riddle score. This same arrangement was then used for a 1961 recording session, conducted by Ralph Carmichael. The 1961 recording is quite possibly one of the most famous and beloved recordings of the 20th Century. For this publication the guitar solo has been transcribed as it was played in the same way for each of the recordings, by both Oscar Moore and John Collins, and is considered integral. Also, specific guitar voicings have been transcribed as they too are an important part of the arrangement.

We also recently released something else very special with great historic significance: Nat King Cole's #1 1950 hit, Mona Lisa, as arranged by Nelson Riddle. We also updated our Nat King Cole Jazz Lines Publications Ten Arrangement Set, also right below, to include Mona Lisa, as well as Unforgettable. Billy May's arrangement of The Party's Over was also just published as well.

Brand new as well are the Phil Norman Tentet Ten Arrangement Set right below, fully updated with the final two charts-Killer Phil and Strollin'-now also re-edited and re-engraved as Jazz Lines Publications editions. The entire set now has full scores. Also added this week was a newly-revised edition of Jamey Simmons's Coventry Carol, a jazz waltz version of this 16th century English Chrismas carol. 

June also presents Alfred Publishing's 2022 New Issues. We have all 12, and they again include some great new music by fine arrangers. Highlights are Gordon Goodwin's new one Change is Good, Alan Baylock's My Foolish Heart, Night and Day as an easy bossa from Victor López, yet another poultry-themed composition from Kris Berg, No Harm/No Fowl, and new takes on standards from friends of ejazzlines Rick Hirsch and Mike Dana: Star Eyes and Poinciana.
