Very entertaining and energetic trombone section feature in an up-tempo samba feel. Bonezalone is written over the chord progression for Alone Together in D-minor. Standard solo changes are written for bones 1-2, who get a full chorus each. Bone 3 solos on D dorian, over percussion (and opt additional aux percussion). Lots of exciting and rhythmic full ensemble writing, plus many fully voiced 4-trombone soli moments. Lead trumpet to high written E (opt G). Lead bone to high C (opt D).
