Written for Jerrys son Christopher, this tuneful, even-8th ballad for advancing groups features flugelhorn throughout. It begins and ends with rubato style cadenzas. In between, the soloist has plenty of room to improvise or play the written solo lines provided. This is a great vehicle to showcase your star trumpet player at a jazz festival.
