The Andrews Sisters had enormous success with Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, and this chart has the same infectious eight beat boogie woogie feel. The vocals have been scored for SSA female trio, and also a solo vocal sheet has been included, making the arrangement singable with only one vocalist. The original studio version has been augmented up to a full big band as well. The brass ranges are very moderate, with the lead trumpet only reaching A. The piano part is fully written out, though your player can improvise a boogie woogie line if preferred. The vocal key is Bb, and the instrumental section modulates to Eb. Reeds are written for AATTB, and there are no sax doubles.
