"Green Sauce" is a minor blues in Latin/Salsa style, written in 2004 by Jonathan Katz. Half note = Around 120. It opens with handclaps of the 2-3 clave as each section comes in separately to set up the groove. The melody and improvised solos feature 2nd trombone and 1st alto sax (there is also a version featuring 2nd trumpet and 1st tenor sax), as well as a classic montuno pyramid section for the climax. Letter D can be opened up for more solos.
