(8 Brass, 5 Saxes) Commissioned by the Boulevard Big Band and the Dream Factory, Kansas City, for their 1991 Christmas CD, this arrangement takes the original traditional Christmas song and reharmonizes the entire tune, with an alternating signature of 4/4 and 3/4 for added interest. Features a substantial tenor sax solo, but rhythm section is also prominently featured throughout on a distinct early 60's Blue-Note feel.
