This bouncy, bop-ish extended blues (28 bars) with a bridge, was written in memory of jazz icon, Dizzy Gillespie. It features an alto saxophone solo, however the solos can easily be opened up for other instruments. The development highlights and ever-expanding unison bop line that weaves and winds its way across an ostinato rhythmic pattern within the trombones and rhythm section, before returning to the bridge and out. Highest note for the lead trumpet is written high C. Key: F Blues
