This very accessible Latin chart is an original written in the bossa-nova style. It employs a tuneful melody supported by a sophisticated chord progression and solid orchestration. Scored with a thorough understanding of the capabilities of developing jazz musicians, this will make a great addition to any school jazz library! It contains great learning material and is fun to play. The piano part is fully notated with chord symbols provided and the guitar part consists primarily of chord changes and slashes. Trombone and alto saxophone are featured on written solos with chord changes also cued. This chart is playable by as few as 9 players and expandable to full big band instrumentation (17 players).
