An exciting 12/8 afro cuban nanigo reminiscent of Kentons "Cuban Fire." Again, the piece is based on a series of sequential nonfunctional harmonies with a semi "outside" melodic line presented by the trumpets and saxes ((later in counterpoint) this offers a real showcase for any band with a great brass section and access to extra latin percussion. Lead tpt goes to high G sharp. Difficult.
