The melody to this brightly swinging Tom Kubis arrangement is handled mostly by the trombone section, and is given a slightly unnerved quality by a continuously pulsing pedalpoint in the bass and drums. The shout chorus starts out in heavy counterpoint before breaking into some nice, rich harmonies for the final salvo. Solo changes are included in all four trombone parts, allowing you to feature your section in whatever configuration you'd like.
