I'm currently at middle school and we came to six flags magic mountain for music in the parks and when we played for the judges I had the solo I was youngest in the bunch of trumpets(3) a 7th grader!Later at the reward ceramony I got the overall jazz soloist award for my tone on the solo and our band got 1st place in overall band and 3 other trophies.If it weren't for this song(4 arr.John Berry?) I wouldn't love this song this is my favorite jazz song overall and probably my forever favorite song overall this is an AMAZING jazz piece!
