This cool little minor samba starts with the flugelhorns on the melody with lots of cool counterpoint in the trombones and a counterpoint sax soli. Solo section is for trumpet and other soloists. The ensemble section is driving and has a little drum and piano solo and then it all finishes with a Basie flourish! This is a pretty yet exciting piece.
