This arrangement from the John Fedchock New York Big Band album "Like It Is," is a swinging chart from beginning to end. Taking inspiration from the writing of Wayne Shorter, this chart has an angular melody with interesting chord changes. The brass section has a chance to shine in a transitional section leading to the trombone solo. Also featured is soprano saxophone (on alto 2).
