Written in honor of the great Howard Rumsey, the former leader/bassist of the Hermosa Beach, CA based “Lighthouse All-Stars.” Lead trumpet to a high written “E.” 5/4/4/4, doubles required but flugels as requested at several points will contribute to the lyricism.
