Something Entirely Different, composed in 2015 is a swing chart featuring piano, trumpet and tenor sax solos.  It is the Grand Prize winner of the 2015 Noteflight Big Band Composition contest.  It was premiered at the 2015 UTA Jazz Orchestra at the alumni concert at the Arlington Levitt Pavilion, and has been selected to the 2016 Region VI SCI conference.

Haley Woodrow is a composer, educator and trumpet player. Haley served as orchestra director and arranger for Cornerstone Baptist Church from 2006-2013. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently enrolled at Texas Christian University in pursuit of the Master of Music in composition. Haley has studied composition and arranging with Dan Cavanagh and Dr.Blaise Ferrandino.
