JULY NOTES: We are thrilled to announce the release of seven brand new Jazz Lines Publications editions of Count Basie classics: After Supper, Cute, Duet, Pensive Miss, Splanky, Teddy the Toad, and Whirlybird. Our Atomic Basie Complete Eleven Arrangement Set has been updated with five of these new releases. All of these were prepared for publication using Neal Hefti's original scores or parts.
JUNE NEW RELEASE PAGES: June's new release pages featured Ella Fitzgerald's Sweet Georgia Brown, with versions for big band and little big band as arranged by Marty Paich. Other new Jazz Lines Publications arrangements include Wynton Marsalis's Union Pacific Big Boy, Sarah Vaughan's The Man I Love as arranged by Benny Carter, Buddy Bregman's I'll See You in My Dreams as written for Anita O'Day, I Never Knew from Dave Pell's Prez Conference, from the pen of Bill Holman, and the PDF download version of the complete set of Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra's fantastic Jazz for Kids arrangements. Other highlights include the 2021 new issues from Paul Baker and his Baker's Jazz & More, and a few new ones from Hal Leonard: a new Mark Taylor take on the Charlie Parker standard Now's the Time for young jazz ensembles, Rick Stitzel's new vocal arrangement of Sweet Home Chicago, and Roger Holmes's new take on Witchcraft.
