Little big band: 4 saxophones (AATB, with a soprano saxophone substitute part for alto 1), 2 trumpets, trombone, guitar, piano, bass and drums.

Written in tribute to the great saxophonist Michael Brecker, this modified blues features a funky, hip hop shuffle groove, an angular melody and contemporary harmonies. There are solos for alto 1 (soprano on the recording), guitar and trumpet 2. The chart includes an imaginative saxophone soli with drums, which leads to an exciting ensemble chorus featuring the full band, followed by a return of the melody, a solo passage for drums and a strong ending.
