I've Got Algorithm is Feifke's playful nod to George Gershwin's famous classic, I’ve Got Rhythm. Featured on Steven Feifke and Bijon Watson Present: The Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra, the track opens with a fiery piano solo by the composer and bandleader accompanied by longtime collaborator Dan Chmielinski on the bass and Ulysses Owens, Jr. on the drums. Bijon Watson, lead trumpeter, co-bandleader and Snooky Young protogé, is featured on some tasteful yet impressive trumpet pyrotechnics throughout.
