This octet arrangement is a feature for the soprano saxophone. There are 3 sections in this chart that feature different ensemble settings. Section 1 is a duo between soprano and guitar. Section 2 is a horn section chorale with alto on lead. Section 3 is two separate solo sections for alto and bass. The solo section has difficult chord changes to play over for a young student. Each section features lush harmonic backgrounds.
