Edition: Jazz Small Group Arrangement with Vocal

Description: Swing - Medium

Publisher: Jazz Lines Publications

Recorded by Ella Fitzgerald in 1958 for her Irving Berlin Song Book album, this Paul Weston chart channels both the Woody Herman Four Brothers and Dave Pell Octet sounds. This arrangement was written for alto saxophone, 3 tenor saxophones, baritone saxophone, trumpet, and rhythm section. Primarily a vocal feature, the chart does feature a few solo spots for trumpet and alto saxophone. Due to the light nature of this arrangement, it would work well as a mid-set break for the brass section.

This publication was prepared from Paul Weston's original pencil score - this is not a transcription. The vocal key is Ab and there are no saxophone doubles.
