This arrangement by Billy Strayhorn comes from the Blanton-Webster years, and is arguably one of his best. This piece will take time to master because there are so many arranging gems to display. Even the Duke Ellington Orchestra had to slow things down and really digest it because it was much different from Ellington's arrangements.
