Georgia Grump is a medium, up-tempo swinger that features the trombones. Based on the standard, Sweet Georgia Brown, it has solo sections for each trombone player and sections where they trade and play together. The backgrounds and solo sections can be as written or on cue. Not a difficult chart but a lot of fun to play. Lead trumpet goes to high D (concert high C). We always get a great response when we play it.
