Never Will I Marry is a terrific Bill Holman arrangement that he wrote for the Woody Herman Band and is recorded on the My Kind of Broadway album. It's an up-tempo excursion full of Bill’s clever, musical and exciting writing. Solo space is provided for alto saxophone, trombone and piano. There is a lot of counterpoint (of course), and, as usual, one of Holman’s killer shout choruses (twice). This will make a great Opener for your gigs. Have fun with it.
