This is a somewhat unknown chart which Hank did for Kenton in the last years of the band (it never got recorded) and, in many ways (Curnow's opinion) it could be the best! It is written in 5/4, has a wonderful melody and Hank's usual great harmonic sense. The middle section takes on the character of a baroque fugue for a time. Then the chart continues in the typical Levy manner ..... i.e. exciting as can be! This chart requires 1 alto, 2 tenor and 2 baritone saxophones.
