The Rizzler is an exciting funk tune that will make a great closer for your festival program! The tune features challenging sections: C,E,F and I that will keep your band busy and engaged. The beat, though funky, still swings! There is a solo at G and H for baritone sax. Have them investigate their F# and C# minor pentatonic scales. Encourage them to learn the bebop scale over the G7 chord. There is a drum solo at K. Please encourage your drummer to match the vibe of the tune, which is distinctly NOT loud. There is a lot of very active “Rizz” that can be played at soft dynamics.
