A bluesy waltz in the spirit of Bobby Timmons' "Dat Dere," "What'll I Do" is an alto saxophone feature that will allow your soloist to dig heavily into their Cannonball Adderley bag. That being said, the rest of the band gets to have some fun as well with a couple of exciting shout choruses. The performance ends with an extended tag that includes a sly quote of "Killer Joe," wrapping up with a gospel-inspired cadence underneath an alto cadenza.
