Edition: Jazz Studio Orchestra Arrangement with Vocal

Description: Ballad - Medium

Publisher: Jazz Lines Publications

Recorded in September 1967 during the session that produced the Tony Bennett album For Once in My Life, this Marion Evans arrangement was initially released for Good Year tires as a Columbia Records special product under the name Great Songs of Christmas. It was subsequently released on Tony's Classic Christmas Album.

Marion Evans crafted a wonderful devotional arrangement showcasing Bennett's sublime vocals. Although there are moments where the orchestra gets a chance to shine, this is a vocal feature from start to finish. A conductor will be essential as the tempo should push, pull and react to the vocalist at all times.

This publication was prepared using Marion Evans's original pencil score - this is not a transcription.
